The Real Africa
Truly an understatement

This country is home to two of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in Africa: Luangwa and Kafue National Parks. South Luangwa, where walking safaris were born, North Luangwa, Lower Zambezi, and Kafue National Park offer visitors an unparalleled experience in the African bush.

Whether on foot or in open landcruisers, your bush experience will be guided by some of the most knowledgeable guides in the field. Lodges and camps are small and of top quality, allowing for highly personalized service.

A wide diversity of tribal nations make up the country, with traditional ceremonies held throughout the year. To get a glimpse of this rich culture, the Maramba Cultural village, near Livingstone, displays the many dwellings and traditional dancing found in remote areas that have not changed since the arrival of Dr. Livingstone.

For the birding enthusuast, this is paradise. Zambia has recorded over 730 species. Much of the country is still covered by original, undisturbed vegetation, along with warm temperatures and wetland areas. This is the perfect environment for both resident and migrant birds.

For the adventurous angler, a trip to Lake Tanganyika will offer an unforgetable experience. Along with the anticipation of catching a record-setting Nile Perch or Tiger Fish, game drives are available in Sambu National Park, an area largely uninhabited by humans but prolific with wildlife. Zambia is wild and beautiful; a "must" for the seasoned traveler.
